“As a cricketer, I think nothing can be over the nation and if PCA has taken this choice, we bolster it. The respect of our Armed Forces is preeminent… Whenever such attacks stop or there is no supporting of terror from Pakistan, a choice can be taken… to play once again,” said Reetinder Singh Sodhi, former Indian all-rounder, who captained the triumphant Indian U-15 group in the ICC World Cup.
Former Indian cricketer and selector Bhupinder Singh, Senior stated, “BCCI, is one of the world’s most richest bodies. They could have likewise donated a generous amount of cash to the families of CRPF personnels. That would have been the greatest help to the lamenting families and to respect our Armed Forces.”
Similarly the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) also stripped down pictures of Pakistan players.

Last Thursday, 40 CRPF paramilitary troopers were killed while a few others were severely injured in what is being named as the atrocious terrorist strike in three decades in Jammu and Kashmir.
“BCCI, RCA and different affiliations are with the families of martyred troopers. As a characteristic of resentment, we have stripped down pictures of Pakistan cricket players. We wish that India projects the proper revenge for the heinous act,” RCA Vice President Mohammad Iqbal stated.
This resolution came after the esteemed Cricket Club of India (CCI) chose to strip the picture of former cricketer Imran Khan, who additionally happens to be the present Prime Minister of Pakistan.
