The on-screen actor, Bollywood heartthrob and Diva Madhuri Dixit says she was stunned to peruse the names of Alok Nath and movie producer Soumik Sen, individuals she has recently worked with, in the #MeToo movement as she was not aware of this side of their identities.
In the #MeToo movement, which hit Bollywood in August a year ago, Alok Nath was blamed for assault by author-director Vinta Nanda. Soumik Sen, who directed Madhuri in Gulaab Gang, has been blamed for improper conduct by three ladies.
Whenever approached on the off chance that it was disastrous for her to see their names in the #MeToo movement, Madhuri told PTI, “It is continually stunning. Since you’ve known them and you’ve not realized them like that.”
“It is continually stunning when something to that effect turns out. What you’ve known them and what you’re perusing is two distinct individuals. It was so stunning.“, Madhuri Dixit stated.
The performing artist is right now preparing for her upcoming parody, Total Dhamaal. After that, she would be screened in Karan Johar’s production Kalank, which includes a troupe cast of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur.
Initially, Sridevi was intended to do the film, before she passed away in February a year ago. The job in the long run went to Madhuri.
The 51-year-old actress said she set aside an opportunity to “digest” that Sridevi was no more.
“What’s required some serious time was to process the entire thing that had occurred. It was so shocking, I resembled ‘you need me to do this job?’ in light of the fact that even they (movie producers) were trapped. They needed to go on.”
“As an individual, it was difficult to deal. As an actress, you know the job, the script. It’s an alternate issue out and out. Be that as it may, to acknowledge the fact of the matter was troublesome,” she included.
